Thanksgiving!

Hey guys! I'll keep this one short since its Thanksgiving Day and I am so anxious to have dinner with my family that my empty stomach will not let me write my regular lengthy paragraphs of information. It's already been a busy day for me since I woke up at 6 AM. Yes, I know what you're thinking, "Why would you wake up so early on Thanksgiving?!" Well, I ran a 5k race with my cousin's husband and my best friend! It was the third 5k race that I participate in and I placed 4th in my age division and around 12th in the overall. Afterwards, I had an hour and a half lesson that I had to teach from 11 AM to 1:30 PM. Yes, I know. A lot of activity for a supposed "relaxing" day. But, that's how my day has been.
I am pretty exhausted right now waiting for my dad to get back home from work so we can eat this delicious turkey that's cooking in the oven! So on that note, I will take off. I hope everyone enjoys this day and embraces the true meaning of it. The togetherness and love of family and friends should be celebrated on a daily basis, but it is a nice feeling to have an entire day dedicated to promotion of those essential intangible feelings that all human beings share. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and don't eat TOO much!
